Holly Kitty
Holly's story is, unfortunately, not unusual. Happily, she found a wonderful home while she was still healthy and joyful enough to settle in easily.
Two Misha May volunteers were conducting a home visit for a dog when they were approached by a very friendly 6 month old cat. After speaking with local people, they learned that the kitty was being fed but was a stray living outdoors.
Everyone was concerned for her safety and that she had not been spayed. Misha May decided to rescue this kitty from a harsh life on the street. She now lives with other adopted Misha May animals in a devoted volunteer family.
Thanks Doug & Anne, for fostering and adopting. Thanks Blue, Sydney and Ginger for making space in this caring home!

ALL GROWN UP
Duke came to Misha May as an out of control pup. The resident dogs helped him learn manners. His new family thought they were coming to look at other dogs at the foster home, but took one look at Duke and said what about him? Now he is all grown up and living in love.
Jack came to Misha May through another rescue - this often happens as Misha May takes in mixed or pure breed dogs. Again, his new family came to see a different dog, but fell in love with Jack at the Pearl Street Fair. Jack is all grown up and living in love too! |
