Survey Says...
Thank you to everyone who took the time to fill out our guest amenity survey last month. We received so many interesting suggestions and we can't wait to get many of them into the mix for our guests to enjoy.

One of the most requested changes on the survey was to provide more choices during breakfast. To that end, Chef Leslie has introduced a new made-to-order omelette option into her award-winning breakfast menu. Guests will be able to select eggs or egg whites, then choose from a variety of fresh ingredients for Chef Leslie to create their customized - and delicious - omelette. Look for this new breakfast offering the next time you visit.

And stay tuned - we will reveal more survey results throughout the spring!
What Time Is It?
Time to get a new clock! Based on several different comments on the recent survey, we went searching for a new type of clock - one that not only tells time, but also gives you access to convenient outlets, USB chargers, and a bluetooth speaker all in one. This little dynamo is called the CubieBlue and it is the perfect nightstand companion for our guests. The next time you visit, you will be able to easily set the alarm, charge all your devices, and stream music (or your favorite white noise app) from your cell phone. If this "sounds" like something you need for your home, you can find it on Amazon - just click here .
Photo of the Month
Throughout the month of February love was truly in the air. And last month our guests visited Cape May to celebrate all kinds of love - romantic love, family love, and friendship love. Warming up by the fireplace in this photo are Mike and Terry, with Marilyn and Sonny. The have known each other for more than 40 years, and two of them (Mike and Marilyn) are cousins!
Music at The Mission Update
It's hard to believe that there are only three more house concerts this season! Last weekend we hosted local acoustic duo Gregg Carpenter and Lara DeCosta who performed their powerful vocals and unique renditions of classic favorites to a sold out crowd.

Next up we welcome back talented singer-songwriter Karl Werne to Cape May for an evening filled with music and stories. We have just a few tickets left for this show on Saturday, March 14 so RSVP before it sells out. Take advantage of our March Madness special to book a room this coming weekend (we have two available!) to enjoy the discounted rate, an amazing house concert, and Cape May's Saint Patrick's Day festivities! Give us a call at 609-884-8380.

Click here    to learn more about the final three shows in our house concert lineup and RSVP today!
Musician Karl Werne returns to Cape May on Saturday, March 14 at 7 pm.
MSG Acoustic Blues Trio performs traditional Piedmont blues on Saturday, April 4 at 7 pm.
Wanted: Your Bottles Caps
Before you head to Cape May this spring/summer, make sure you pack something extra in your suitcase - your used bottle caps. We are collecting all kinds of plastic caps to be used for making recycled plastic benches. It takes approximately 500 pounds (that's about 100,000 bottle caps!) to make a standard bench.

Remember, every cap used to make a bench is one less cap in the landfill. Help us make a difference one cap at a time! We will be taking cap donations all year long.
Things to do in Cape May This Spring
When you stay at The Mission Inn we provide you with a daily list of activities going on around Cape May during your stay including live music, festivals, tours, and special events. This daily bulletin is available every morning to help you plan your stay. To get you started, here's a sneak peek at some of what's coming up this spring:

Cape May Inn -Sider Tip:
Cape May is full of history! You've likely walked or biked along the downtown streets to see some of our famous Victorian architecture. But did you know that Cape May also has a few wonderful museums around town? The next time you visit, make time to check out one or more of these museums that pay tribute to Cape May's past, including the new Harriet Tubman Museum scheduled to open in June, 2020. Click on each museum to learn more.
