The Mission Inn is Cape May's Premier Bed and Breakfast Destination.
Thank You!

Fall is in full swing and as we look ahead to the upcoming Thanksgiving holiday, we wanted to express our sincere gratitude to everyone who has supported The Mission Inn this year. Whether you were able to spend time with us in Cape May, you purchased a gift certificate for a future stay, or you liked and shared our social media posts, we thank you from the bottom of our hearts.

This has been a challenging year in so many ways. And we've all had to adjust and adapt to keep ourselves and each other safe and sane. As 2020 heads into the homestretch, we remain committed to upholding the highest standards of health and cleanliness at the inn now and in the future. And as we all take time to gather with family and friends both in person and virtually during this upcoming holiday season, you will all be in our thoughts.
´╗┐Stay safe and have a Happy Thanksgiving!

We Salute our Veterans!
To honor the men and women who have served our country, we are again celebrating Veteran's Day by offering a FREE night's stay on Monday, November 9th, for active duty military or veterans. As part of a nationwide program called "B&B's for Vets" The Mission Inn is proud to donate two one-night stays for veterans to spend the night of Monday, November 9th in Cape May.

Due to the popularity of this program, this year we are going to randomly select two worthy veterans to fill these free rooms. To be entered into our drawing, you must send an email to by midnight on Friday, November 6. Use the subject line "VETS" to ensure that we see it. Or you can enter through our social media posts - see Facebook or Instagram for more details. Two winners will be drawn and announced on Saturday morning, November 7. Thank you for your service and good luck!
Photo of the Month
Long-time Mission Inn guests Ken and Emily P., from Kendall Park, NJ, took advantage of some beautiful fall weather during their recent stay to try out two Electric Bikes from Pedego Cape May on a ride with our sister company, Curious Cape May bike tours. They used the ebikes to explore Cape May Point on two wheels, learning about the town's unique past, and snapping this great photo in front of Lake Lilly. Next time you're in town, ask us about taking a bike tour with Pedego e-bikes or our own beach cruiser bikes.

Chef's Corner: Morning Glory Muffins
These Morning Glory muffins are Chef Leslie's new fall favorite. Featuring ingredients such as whole wheat flour, cinnamon, apples, ginger, and carrots, they are healthy and delicious. And like all of her baked goods, she makes them fresh in the morning before breakfast. If you arrive right at 8 am, they might still be hot!

Click here to see Chef Leslie's recipe for Morning Glory muffins and give them a try yourself this fall.
Fun Fact: As amazing and glorious as these healthy little muffins are, they actually get their name from a restaurant in Nantucket where they first originated back in 1978 - the Morning Glory Cafe.
Cape May Christmas Events
While some traditional events will not take place this year due to the pandemic, Cape May has put together a full schedule of fun and safe activities for the holiday season. Ranging from tree lighting ceremonies, to a Holiday Hunt walking tour, and even Christmas Carol karaoke, there's plenty to do around town this December.

Puzzle Swap
Over the years, many of our guests have fallen in love with our wooden puzzles during their stay at The Mission Inn. We have a collection of more than 20 different designs from Liberty Puzzles in Boulder, Colorado. And some guests have enjoyed them so much that they've purchased their own wooden puzzles to continue the fun at home.

If you're in this category of true puzzle lovers, we'd love to set up a puzzle exchange with you! Just let us know if you're interested and the next time you visit, we will arrange a temporary swap. And a big shout-out to our guest Kim S., from Brick, NJ, who suggested this wonderful idea!
Cape May Inn-Sider Tip:
Looking for a fun and socially distanced idea to try the next time you're in town? Then consider spending the day checking out some antique stores located along "Antique Alley" just a short drive from the inn. You never know what treasures you will find! Click here to see a list and a map of some of our favorites or just ask us about it the next time you visit.
