The Centers for Disease Control & Prevention offers free resources including video, fact sheets, and posters, to support COVID-19 recommendations.

Free accommodations for COVID-19 first responders
Cancer Support Community (CSC) and Airbnb are partnering to provide free short-term accommodations for healthcare workers responding to the COVID-19 crisis. The program connects first responders with clean, convenient places to stay that allow them to be close to their patients — and safely distanced from their own families.

Program highlights:

  • All medical professionals working in hospitals or medical centers managing COVID-19 patients are welcome to the program. 
  • Health care workers may have a maximum stay of one month. 
  • All options are non-shared space only.
  • Requests for housing must be made or confirmed by the administrator of the hospital or medical center.

Michigan State Medical Society has started a weekly tele-town hall on COVID-19 topics for physicians. Guest speakers will provide brief presentations and take questions on a wide range of topics important to physicians. Upcoming topics include safe office procedures for seeing patients, new employment policies and a conversation with Governor Whitmer.
