Updates for submitting provider directory data quality info
It is no longer required that practices need to log into the PRIME-Hub website AND the Council for Affordable Quality Healthcare (CAQH) provider portal to update demographic data. CAQH is a secure central database and authorizes health care organizations to access information. Blue Cross Blue Shield of Michigan attestation process has transitioned solely to the CAQH provider portal which is the same portal that most other health insurers use to validate provider information.

Completing quarterly attestations through CAQH will be the sole responsibility of the provider (or whomever they have designated within their practice to do so). To be compliant with the attestation process and avoid sanctions from BCBSM, providers must log into the CAQH system quarterly to confirm information. The Physician Alliance will continue to receive reports from BCBSM of providers who have not attested to their information through CAQH and are at risk for BCBSM sanctions. As a courtesy, The Physician Alliance will alert providers identified at risk (base on information provided by BCBSM).

For more information on this updated process, visit TPA's website.
Order form problem for patient education materials
It has come to our attention that there is a technology glitch in the online order form for patient education materials on The Physician Alliance website.
We hope to have this fixed by next week and will begin fulfilling orders soon. If you submitted an order for patient education posters, it is in the queue so no need to resend an order.
We appreciate your patience and understanding!
TPA practices recognized for quality of care
Priority Health annually recognizes top performing physician practices through their Quality Awards program. Awards are presented to practices that achieve the highest overall scores in preventive care and chronic disease measures through the Priority Health Primary Care Provider Incentive Program.

Congratulations to Romeo Plank Family Practice in Macomb and South Lyon Medical Center in South Lyon!
The Physician Alliance thanks these practices' physicians and staff for their commitment to improving patient care.
