HEALTHY BEHAVIORS FUNDING OPPORTUNITIES AVAILABLE
Grants for community projects that promote healthy behaviors.
Consistent with its mission to improve the health status of Central Louisiana, The Rapides Foundation's Healthy Behaviors Initiative addresses the importance of healthy behaviors to prevent illness and premature death. 

The Foundation is now offering two Healthy Behaviors grant opportunities that address the important behavior areas of tobacco prevention and control, substance and alcohol abuse prevention, and nutrition and physical activity with respect to overweight/obesity among Cenla residents. 
CDW SPRING TRAINING OFFERINGS BEGIN IN MARCH
Courses focus on grant writing, starting a nonprofit, human resources, fund development, financial management.
Community Development Works (CDW), a program of The Rapides Foundation, offers free, skill-building trainings on a variety of topics for people interested in improving their communities. 

Topics include volunteerism, fund development, financial management and grant writing. Spring training offerings start March 1.
CDW ACCEPTING APPLICATIONS FOR CENLA EXECBUILDERS PROGRAM 
Leadership development program offered for nonprofit Executive Directors and Senior Staff.
Community Development Works (CDW), a program of The Rapides Foundation, is accepting applications for Cenla Execbuilders, a leadership development program for new or experienced Executive Directors and Senior Managers of local nonprofit organizations. The deadline to apply is March 1.
