2014 ANNUAL REPORT
Looking Back on 20 Years
Our 2014 Annual Report celebrates The Rapides Foundation's first 20 years by looking back on our history and explaining how it shaped our current projects. We hope you enjoy reading the report and watching the accompanying videos to learn more about the powerful work being done throughout Central Louisiana in support of the Foundation's mission to improve the health status of Central Louisiana.

HAVE A HEALTHY HOLIDAY
Foundation encourages you to "Eat smart. Cook right. Get moving. Find joy."
The Rapides Foundation is encouraging everyone to "Have a Healthy Holiday" by offering healthy recipes, simple exercise video demonstrations, and tips for creating a healthy plan during this holiday season. 

The recipes include: Roasted Red Pepper Walnut Dip; Butternut Squash Latkes; Stuffed Pork Loin Roast; and Chocolate-dipped Nut Bites. Additional recipes from previous years are also included.

As an added bonus, cooking demonstrations for each of the featured recipes with step-by-step instructions on preparing the dishes are available to watch on the Foundation's website and YouTube channel.

CENLA EXECBUILDERS PROGRAM RECOGNIZES NEW GRADUATES

photo of 2015grad brochure Eight Central Louisiana nonprofit leaders graduated from Cenla Execbuilders, a leadership development program for nonprofit senior staff. Cenla Execbuilders, a program of Community Development Works, is designed to identify and develop knowledgeable, skilled, committed, and action-oriented leaders who will have maximum impact on the communities and constituents they serve in an environment of change and competing priorities.

The graduates now join a group of 30 Cenla Execbuilders alumni who participate in the program's peer leadership network. Cenla Execbuilders is a free program, and is open to new or experienced Executive Directors, or up-and-coming executives in Cenla who want to become more effective in their role as leaders of local nonprofit organizations.
