The Rapides Foundation has awarded a

$1.4 million grant to Career Compass of Louisiana that addresses the high number of young adults between the ages of 16 and 24 who are not working or pursuing an education.

The 2021 Symposium will be held on Wednesday, September 1, from 3:00-4:30 p.m.

Dr. Doug Harris, Professor and Chair of the Department of Economics, and the Schlieder Foundation Chair in Public Education at Tulane University will be the featured speaker.
