DePaul Real Estate Students Recognized by External Organizations
The generous real estate community recognizes that earning a degree is a costly endeavor. To take some of the financial burden off students, several industry organizations and associations offer academic scholarship programs for graduate and undergraduate students in the Chicagoland area.

This Fall two organizations, NAIOP Chicago and The Goldie Initiative, each selected a DePaul graduate real estate student to receive financial support along with professional development opportunities for the 2017/18 academic year.  In addition NAREIM named one of our graduate students as a Fellow to participate in their annual meeting.

The NAIOP Chicago Scholarship Program includes $7,500 in tuition assistance along with the following professional benefits valued at $2,500: a one year NAIOP Developing Leader Membership, attendance at the National Forums Symposium, admission to all NAIOP Chicago breakfast meetings and Developing Leaders events for one year and inclusion in the NAIOP Mentorship Program.

The Goldie Initiative concentrates its efforts on preparing women for senior leadership roles in all sectors of CRE.  As such, The Goldie Initiative provides: scholarship support for graduate study, an executive mentorship and leadership development program, and networking opportunities for women with high potential who are committed to becoming leaders in the real estate industry.

This is the second year in a row that DePaul students have been selected by NAIOP and The Goldie Initiative as recipients of their scholarship programs.  It is a testament to our students' academic success and to the demonstrated commitment the real estate community affords to its future leaders.
