RV of the Month
|
The 1953 Kompak Sportsman combined a towable RV with a boat that doubled as the roof.
This rig actually sold about a week ago for just under $10,000! If the dog had been offered with it, I might have bid on it myself!

Country Star Alice Wallace to Perform Free Concert at
The Springs RV Resort
Sunday, April 7
In a special treat to The Springs RV Guests and the entire community of Borrego Springs, the Borrego Springs Community Concert Association is sponsoring a free public concert with rising star singer-songwriter Alice Wallace on Sunday, April 7 at 5 PM.
Alice was named
2
017 California Country Awards Female Vocalist of the Year, as well as the
2016 Los Angeles Music Critic Awards for Best Country/Americana Artist and Best Official Music Video.
Though Alice has been under-recognized by the mainstream media for years, her star is rising quickly now and critics are taking notice.
"Alice Wallace's steady tenor is shot through with Crystal Gayle's ache, Linda Ronstadt's country essence," gushed Holly Gleason,
Pollstar.
"...one of the most unheralded singers in independent country/Americana." said
Saving Country Music.
Alice is bringing her four-piece band to the Dreamweaver Amphitheater stage and everybody is invited. She'll be featuring music from her newly released album,
Into the Blue.
Concert attendees are encouraged to bring their own chairs, or a blanket for the lawn.
The Springs Wine and Beer Bar will be open.

Canada Vs. USA Borrego Cup 2020
Planning in Full Swing
|
The Tournament Committee for the 2020 Canada vs. USA Borrego Cup Golf Tournament met in March and decided to get the planning process going early. The date of the Tournament will be February 20-22, 2020.
After noting that the Canadian side has won the Tournament only once in ten years, the goal of the committee is to encourage more participation and competitiveness.
Anyone interested in playing in or helping with the tournament should email [email protected]. Ginny
and her committee are putting together the contac
t list of volunteers and players.
The committee has some great ideas for more fun twists and turns during the tournament, and we expect the participation to be robust.
