Highlights of 2023

Memorial Garden

This spring, the team at The Whitehall Apartments held a dedication of its new Memorial Garden. Staff worked hard for over a year to prepare the space, secure donations and recruit volunteers (both residents and community members) to provide this quiet area for reflection and remembrance for our veteran residents.

Armed Forces Week

In May, we celebrated Armed Forces Week with engaging community volunteers and partners to host a series of events and activities for our residents, including a bar-b-que lunch, a cornhole tournament, an ice cream social and a field trip to the Medal of Honor Grove located on the grounds of The Freedom Foundation next to Valley Forge National Historical Park. The week caped off with a party hosted by the Daughters of the American Revolution.

Healthy Living Initiatives

Throughout the year, our friends at the Chester County Food Bank held fresh food demos for our residents. Tower Health Phoenixville Hospital continued their commitment to our residents offering free monthly health screenings and Flu shots. These partnerships help keep our residents healthy.

Holidays at The Whitehall Apartments

From America's Boating Club-Valley Forge/The Saarthee Company's Christmas party to Holiday Bingo with The Rotary Club Of Phoenixville to a Hot Cocoa Social hosted by VFW 7155 Auxiliary to our annual Holiday Day Door Decorating Contest and everything in between, our residents had a very Happy Holidays at The Whitehall Apartments!
