Happy New Year!

It has been a memorable year at The Whitehall Apartments! Thanks to our partners and community, we have been able to provide housing and supportive services to our veteran residents and their families living in our housing community.

We thank you all for being part of what we do and look forward to even more activities in 2025!

Check out some highlights from this past year.

Highlights of 2024

Community Room Dedication

The Whitehall Apartments renamed its Community Room in honor of Harry “Skip” Dittmann for his commitment and service to the veteran residents living here. More than 25 guests, staff and residents joined us to celebrate with a short program, dedication and unveiling of a commemorative plaque, followed by lunch.

Fishing Derby Trip

In May, residents took a trip to the Pete Mashintonio Memorial Veteran's Fishing Derby in Chester County.

Volpe Enterprises, Inc. Visits

On Veterans Day, Volpe Enterprises, Inc. visited The Whitehall Apartments to deliver baskets with cleaning and laundry supplies, toiletries and snacks. Employees also wrote personal notes of thanks and encouragement for our residents.

As part of the event and its employee volunteering initiative, the Volpe team created a video to share with its employees about The Whitehall Apartments, so they better understood the importance of the residence and its veteran supportive housing program. Click here to watch the video.

Healthy Living Initiatives

Over the course of the year, our friends at the Chester County Food Bank held fresh food demonstrations for our residents. These demonstrations were centered around healthy ingredients and recipes.

Holidays at The Whitehall Apartments

A wonderful holiday party courtesy of America's Boating Club Valley Forge ensured that residents at The Whitehall Apartments had a joyful Happy Holidays!
