NURSING STUDENTS, DONORS GATHER FOR ANNUAL SCHOLARSHIP BANQUET
More than 100 students from the UH College of Nursing were honored with scholarship support at the annual Scholarship Banquet. The event was held at Safari Texas Ranch in Richmond.

FIRST CAREER FAIR FOR UH AT SUGAR LAND HOSTED AT TOWN SQUARE
Nearly 200 jobseekers sought out more than 25 employers at the first ever Sugar Land Career Fair at the Sugar Land Marriott Town Square. The event was a partnership between University Career Services and Congressman Pete Olson’s office.
The UH community is invited to Grad School Week, a week’s worth of UH Career Services workshops (through Oct. 4). Learn about making yourself a competitive applicant, the do’s and don’ts of requesting letters of recommendation, and overcoming test anxiety. All workshops at the Student Center 1.
Come to a free workshop in October to learn how to get started with FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). Open to the public, including high school seniors and current UH students. Financial aid pros from UH will answer questions and provide one-on-one help.
