"Who Bends the Arc?"
Rev. Jaimie Dingus / Multi-generational
10:45 a.m.
We have heard it said that ‘the arc of the moral universe is long, but it bends toward justice.” And we know that we are all partners in that bending. In this service, we will reflect on some lesser-known UUs in history who have bent the arc and brought us closer to the vision of the beloved community.

Volunteer Help Wanted!
Are you a UUCH member or friend who has been thinking about deepening your involvement, but perhaps wondering where to begin? Here is a specific example of a current need: UUCH is looking for a tech savvy (or tech-curious) volunteer to address occasional issues with computers, printers, smart devices, audio-video, and the like on the church premises. If you are interested, please contact Shalin Mody at technology@uuch.org to discuss it in more detail. If you are interested in finding other ways you might help with church ministries and activities, contact the Nominating Committee at nominating@uuch.org.

Musicians and Storytellers Needed!
Calling all musicians, storytellers, and other entertainers! Aren't we all missing those fun open mic events we used to have in our Fellowship Hall? You bet we are! This will be the next best thing, but we need everyone's help and participation. On Saturday, March 6, we will have a virtual Open Mic party on Zoom to celebrate our beloved community and kick off our annual budget drive. Performers, contact Tim Miller at music.committee@uuch.org to sign up or if you'd like to do a test of your Zoom setup. Performers of all ages and ranges of abilities are welcome!

Donating by Text or Online
|
|
To give a plate offering to UUCH from your mobile device, text the amount (without dollar sign) to 833-559-0257, and follow the instructions. Text giving is by debit or credit card only.
Like our other online and mobile giving options, this option is through Vanco, is secure, and has a good option for "plate" donations.

Care List
This Sunday at our Circle of Candles:
The Delaceys lit a candle of joy: Benjamin’s poison ivy is better!!! Thank you for the tips and tricks.
The Delaceys lit a candle of concern: Winter storm warnings.
Michaela Whitehead lit a candle of concern: Asking for warm thoughts and prayers for our middle son, Isaac (age 4), who was directly exposed to COVID-19 at school and now has to quarantine for 2 weeks. We pray he stays healthy and that his siblings (Miriam--5, Jonathan--7 months) also don't catch the virus.
Bette Goodman lit a candle of sorrow: We learned yesterday that our friend Mariam Steele lost her battle with COVID-19. She will be greatly missed!
Angela Arnold lit a candle of joy: For this day to remind us that every day is an opportunity to tell friends and family how much you love them! 💕💜💕
The Delaceys lit a candle of joy: Big love to you from the Delacey clan, Angela!!
Willie Robinson lit a candle of joy: Love each and every one of you. May we find warmth in the love we share with one another.
Greeter - Jessica S. lit a candle of joy: I've missed being with you for several weeks. It feels good to be back, kind of like coming home.
