New Office, Hours, and Payment Options
When the first tax bills of the year are sent out in March 2020, residents will have a new tax collector to work with. The Township Tax Collector collects Real Estate taxes and residents’ Occupation Taxes for the County of Bucks, Township of Upper Makefield (including Washington Crossing) and Council Rock School District.
Tom Merchant was elected to office November 2019, after the passing of long-time Tax Collector Nick Ettorre.
A former legal Vice President of GlaxoSmithKline, Tom is now self-employed as a legal consultant. He passed the state exam for tax collectors and is a "Qualified Tax Collector" in Pennsylvania.

Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3 -5 p.m.
Extra Hours: Saturday, April 25, 9-11 a.m.
August -
Tuesdays and Thursdays, 3 -5 p.m.
Extra Hours: Saturday, August 29, 9-11 a.m.
Call or email the tax collector if you need an appointment for another time.
Please note: If you do not receive your tax bill, contact the Tax Collector's office for a copy. The Tax Collector cannot waive penalties or extend due dates due to not having received your bill!
