Payment instructions for your Council Rock School District and Occupation Tax bills have changed. Your bills, issued in July, will instruct you to make checks payable to:

Due to the recent passing of Upper Makefield Tax Collector Nicholas Ettorre, Upper Makefield resident Michael Biederman has been appointed as Upper Makefield Tax Collector. Tammy Sutton has been appointed as Deputy Tax Collector to bill and collect only the 2019-2020 School Real Estate and Occupation Taxes.
These changes apply only to the 2019/20 School Tax and Occupation Tax. Continue to follow payment instructions printed on Local and County tax bills for remitting those tax payments.
As a reminder:
School Taxes
The Council Rock School District tax rate for the 2019-20 school year is 126.301 mils. School tax bills are sent out in July and are due as follows:
- 2% discount if paid by August 31
- Full amount if paid by October 31
- 10% penalty applied if paid after October 31
Occupation Taxes
The Occupation Tax bill is sent in July for Council Rock School District. If your occupation changes, you move out of Upper Makefield Township, or you have any questions about the Occupation Tax, please call the school district at 215-944-1000.
