Well it looks like the spring weather has arrived and winter is over, we hope.

Just a reminder that 2015 membership invoices went out February 25th.  Many have sent in their renewals.  If you have not there is still time to do so.  If you can't find a copy please contact the Chamber office at 613-732-1492.

1 - 7 employees $115 + $14.95 HST = $129.95
8 - 24 employees $165 + $21.45 HST = $$186.45
25 - 99 employees $240 + $31.20 HST = $271.20
100 - 249 employees $305+ $39.65 HST = $344.65
250 + employees $550 + $71.50 HST = $621.50

Please keep the Chamber office updated with any changes in your business.  We especially want to know if you have moved locations, have a new email if there`s a new contact person etc. Email is the main communication tool we use so please make sure we have yours.

The Chamber's Member to Member Discount Program is starting to become quite popular.  Please let us know if you would like to continue or to start participating in the Members to Members Discount Program.  This program is voluntary and your business would offer a discount to other Chamber members and their staff.   In order for your staff to participate and be identified for the discounts, additional cards can be purchased at the cost of $5.65 (HST included) per card per year.  Please contact Lorraine at the Chamber office to purchase or for more information. (The Chamber member company receives one card complimentary with paid membership).

Chamber Travel Program

The Upper Ottawa Valley Chamber of Commerce along with Travelonly Vacation and Collette Vacations are considering a Chamber Travel Program by offering escorted travel similar to what several other Chambers in Ontario presently offer their members. 

Before selecting a tour and date we thought it would be best to survey our members to see if there is an interest which destination and potential travel date.

The Pembroke Business Improvement Area is celebrating the wide variety of services available in Downtown Pembroke on May 2nd, 2015 at the Pembroke Memorial Centre.

As the UOV Chamber is a Downtown members, and as both our organizations work to promote and support local business, the PBIA has opened this trade show up to the UOV Chamber of Commerce membership as well.
