ADOPT A FAMILY--CHRISTMAS GIVING TREE
|
The Christmas Giving Tree will be up this Sunday. Names and gift suggestions for the five families we will be providing Christmas for this year are on it. We hope you are able to take a name or two and shop for them this year. Bring your wrapped gift to church on December 16th, being sure to have the tag you took from the tree on the outside of it. We will have the families pick them up on the 17th or 18th. This is a very rewarding project and we hope you are able to help us again this year. Thanking you in advance.

SMALL GROUPS
|
Small Groups have one, simple purpose: to bring people together. We believe God created us to live in relationship with others and only then can we live the full life He intends for us. Sharing life through community is part of our design, but meaningful relationships aren't always easy to find. That's why Small Groups exist-to make these life-changing relationships relevant and accessible to you. Check one of these out!
For complete list and additional information regarding the available groups, contact Pastor Jason or the office and we will email it to you.

SPECIAL PRAYER REQUESTS
|
We have received the two following prayer requests/updates:
From Phyllis Riley, "
I received word from my nephew in Tennessee that their daughter committed suicide.
She was in her early 20's. Please keep her family in your prayers....Thanks...
From Linda Owens, "Just and update on my friend Theresa. She has talked to her landlord's daughter and most of the landlord's rental properties are a total loss. Yesterday, when Theresa was able to get her little dog and stopped for gas, the person at the gas station said that the movie theater and grocery store in Paradise were both a total loss. The fire had raced down the street Theresa was living on. She sounded ok but I can hear the sadness in her voice and the uncertainty of what is to come. Thanks for the prayers and please continue to pray for her.

MOMENTS WITH MARK #209
|
The final of the six Spiritual Seasons we experience as Christians is the Happy Season. Things are going pretty well during this season! Your job is going well. The kids are behaving and bringing you joy. Your finances are stable. You are reading your Bible and praying consistently. Your exercise program is working.
Your relationships are strong. Life is good! You still have work to do in this season. Praise the Lord! We should praise God in every season because our hearts need it and God is worthy of our praises no matter what. Praise always precedes the victory in life!
"Come let us shout to the Lord! Let us shout joyfully to the Rock of our salvation. Let us come to Him with thanksgiving. Let us sing psalms of praise to him. For the Lord is a great God, a great King above all gods."
(Psalm 95:1-3 NLT)
"Let all that I am praise the Lord; with my whole heart, I will praise his holy name. Let all that I am praise the Lord; may I never forget the good things he does for me." (Psalm 103:1-2 NLT)
All good things come from God! Praise Him!
