Van Patten Golf Club is Saratoga County's premiere facility to host your golf outing/banquet. Simply put, there is no better place in the area to host your event that provides the value that we do.

Summer Fun at The Vista!
 Summer is officially here! Come join us on our beautiful patio overlooking the golf course for some delicious food and refreshing drinks. Brand new this year is our Summer Concert Series. Plan ahead and set aside time to enjoy great music while relaxing on our patio! We will be offering food and drink specials at all of the events. Breakfast Buffet
Join us on Sundays for our delicious Breakfast buffet, available from 9:00am-12:00noon on Sunday mornings. Price is $8.25.
Deli Lunch Buffet
Take a break and meet a friend for lunch! Come in and try our Deli Lunch Buffet. This will begin on Wednesday June 1st. Only $8.95! Available Monday-Friday from 11:30am - 3:00pm.
Prime Rib Special
Come in on Friday and Saturday evenings for our Prime Rib Special. This special will not run on evenings that the restaurant is closed for private functions. 10oz $13.95 and 12oz $15.95
Pasta Night
Monday evenings our chefs will prepare your custom pasta dish right before your eyes! Choose form many varieties of meats, vegetables and pastas combined with your favorite type of sauce. $11.95 includes a salad. Please phone in advance.

News for the Kitchen
Our executive chef, Christian Raeth will be sharing interesting news from our kitchen. This month we will be featuring another one of Christian's world class recipes.
Shrimp Stir Fry
Serving Size : 1
Amount Measure Ingredient -- Preparation Method

6 each shrimp, large
1/4 each white onion slices
1 cup mixed vegetables
1/2 teaspoon ginger root -- minced
1 cup white rice -- steamed
1/4 cup hoisin sauce
1/4 cup soy sauce
1/4 cup ketchup
1 teaspoon peanut butter
1 teaspoon sesame oil
1 teaspoon orange marmalade
1 pinch cilantro -- chopped
1 teaspoon vegetable oil
Mix the hoi sin sauce, soy sauce, ketchup, peanut butter, sesame oil and orange marmelade together in a small pot and bring to a boil, then set aside.
Saut� the Shrimp in a hot 12 inch skillet or wok with the vegetable oil until the shrimp is evenly red on the outside.
Add the ginger and vegetable and saut� for 2 minutes.
Add the stir fry sauce and serve over hot Jasmine rice and Sprinkle with cilantro.

Greenside
Summer greetings to all from the Maintenance Staff. It sure is nice to see the sun and be past the weeks of rain that we had to deal with in May and June. It is great to see everyone out enjoying the golf course. The staff continues to try and improve conditions on a daily basis. With Mother Natures help, we look forward to a great summer of golf at Van Patten.
As we head into the hot days of July and August, you as homeowners want make sure you aren't mowing your lawns too low. If you have an irrigation system, it isn't that big of an issue. If you don't, then you want to raise the height of cut on your mower to relieve the summer stress on the plant. If you raise it up, it will allow for a healthier plant in the dry conditions and maybe you wont have your lawn burn out and go dormant. Raise it up and inch, you will be happy you did in September.
