New Car Rider Dismissal Procedures
|
As you have probably noticed, construction is occurring outside the gym doors where car riders are dismissed. A canopy is being built that will provide some extra shelter. We will ask parents who come into the gym to pick up their children to wait in the area in front of the PE office and equipment room, the north side of the gym. Students will sit in their lines in front of the stage to be dismissed. The pick-up procedures will remain the same, a duty teacher will call in for your child. The main change will be that students will now exit the north entrance/exit doors of the building. This will be a temporary change and we will continue regular procedures when the construction is completed. Thank You

Yearbook Photos
|
Our school has 645 students and we want our yearbook to be as inclusive as possible, highlighting a variety of the wonderful activities that occur during the school year.
As you take photos, consider the following recommendations:
-Groups of kids (three to five at a time)
-Close ups work best- Pictures taken of the whole classroom will not show faces well enough
-Photos do not have to be from an "event" - fun playground photos, cafeteria shots, etc. will work, too
-Cell phone photos must be submitted at the highest resolution
-Required resolution: 300 dpi minimum or 5 megapixels
If emailing pictures does not work well for you, you may download them onto a CD and send them to school for Laurie Way.
Pictures may be emailed to Washington.yearbook2012@gmail.com
