Deadly . . . as a Walk in the Park

Victoria Brentwood's neighbor Cam is late picking up her retired racer Minuit for their morning run in the park. Hours later she learns Cam has been killed by a hit-and-run driver, and Minuit barely escaped with her life. Twenty years earlier her husband Robert succumbed to a similar "accident." She believes that HPD will never link the two killings, so it is up to her and her family to get the answers. Taking on fake gurus, money lenders, gamblers, crooks and lawyers, Victoria, Hildy, and Grace, along with their best fur friends, Minuit, Shasta, and Catrina are on the case.

Brentwood Women Mystery #3

Murder . . . from Time to Time

COMING SPRING 2025

Visit 1928 Houston and the wonderful 100-year-old "technology" of Grace's great-great-grandmother's world.

My Cadence crew has designed a fun cover for Grace and Hannah's book, which I'll share with you at the October 20 Series Launch!

Murder . . . from Time to Time finds Grace stuck in her loft for the remainder of her pregnancy. Her mother and grandmother are going to find her a mystery to keep her engaged while under bedrest. The cold case explores the world of 1920s Houston with Grace's great-great-grandmother, Hannah Grace Bailey. Hannah dreams of following in the footsteps of her idol, Nellie Blye, one of the country's first investigative journalists. Like Nellie, Hannah is working undercover to discover who is responsible for land fraud in Houston's first planned neighborhood, the Heights.
