Ophy Care Launches New EMR System

Designed for Medical Missions

Ophy Care, a Westchester County Biosciences Accelerator alum, has announced its newest product: an EMR (Electronic Medical Record) system specifically designed for medical missions. This innovative solution is a fully customized electronic medical record software that will enable medical mission organizations to manage their operations in conflict-hit regions through a cloud-based, centralized system.

Ophy Care’s EMR system covers the entire patient journey, from the moment a patient walks into a facility to post-op recovery. It also includes analytics capabilities that allow organizations to plan missions in a precise and effective manner. And, with centralized electronic record-keeping, organizations can generate outcome-based reports to measure the impact of their work.

The potential of this EMR to revolutionize the medical mission space is already being recognized by the company’s first client, the Palestine Children's Relief Fund (PCRF), who will be using it to serve thousands of children in conflict-hit regions of Middle East.

Apply Today for an Amber Grant for Women

WomensNet founded the “Amber Grant” in 1998 with one goal in mind: to honor the memory of a very special young woman, Amber Wigdahl, who died at just 19 years old before realizing her business dreams.

Today, WomensNet carries on that tradition, proudly giving away at least $30,000 every month in Amber Grant money. In recognition of the diversity of businesses owned by women, WomensNet expanded its grant-giving to include Marketing Grants, Business Category Grants, as well as two $25,000 Year End Grants.

Applying is simple. Submitting one application makes you instantly eligible for all grants related to your business. Grant winners are announced by the 23rd of the following month. Apply here.

New York Business Plan Competition

Accepting Student Applications

The 2022-2023 New York Business Plan Competition (NYBC) is currently accepting student applications.

All students are invited to apply! This includes any graduate, undergraduate, and/or community college students enrolled part- or full-time in accredited New York colleges and universities during the current academic year. Students who graduate during the Fall semester are eligible to compete in the competition during the Spring semester. Exchange students are also eligible.
