218 Launch1000 Graduates Receive Grants from
the Office of Economic Development
The Westchester County Office of Economic Development is pleased to announce that 218 graduates from Launch1000 have each earned a $2,500 grant for completing the program. Of those Launchers, nearly three-quarters qualified to receive an additional $2,500 grant for achieving key milestones for advancing the growth of their venture. This grant funding represents a $940,000 investment in helping new businesses and nonprofits to launch and scale.

Ampli-fi.io Accepted into FinTech Sandbox, Places Second in Online Pitch Competition
Ampli-fi.io, a graduate of the third Element 46 cohort, was recently accepted into FinTech Sandbox, a Boston-based nonprofit that offers participants access to a robust set of market, banking, investment and corporate fundamentals data. In addition, the company also recently placed second in online pitch competition, Startupalooza.
Ampli-fi offers the leading digital platform providing equipment resellers with unrivaled tools to sell more equipment with fast & easy finance options.

New York Business Plan Competition Accepting Applications from Students, as well as Professional Judges and Mentors
The NYBPC is New York’s intercollegiate entrepreneurship competition that, since 2010, has provided a platform for training New York’s next generation of entrepreneurs and launched new ventures, commercializing innovations developed on college campuses across New York. The NYBC is currently accepting applications from student teams, and is also recruiting judges and mentors for this year’s competition.
Student Teams
All students are invited to apply, including graduate, undergraduate, and/or community college students enrolled part- or full-time in accredited New York colleges and universities during the current academic year. Exchange students are also eligible.
Participants will receive feedback from experts in their field, have access to potential investment opportunities and experience delivering pitches to industry professionals.

Judges & Mentors
Participating as a judge or mentor with NYBPC regionals and finals creates unique value for future entrepreneurs in New York. This is a great opportunity to share your wealth of expertise with today’s newest innovators. Judges and mentors are venture capitalists, angel investors, investment bankers, experienced entrepreneurs and leaders from the business community.

Applications are now being accepted for Ossining Innovates! 4th Inclusive Entrepreneur Accelerator, which will being in February 2022. The program includes 20-weeks of high-quality. You’ll work with a team of experienced and inspiring instructors, carefully-selected mentors, and a fantastic community of students. The relationships won’t end when the session does...you’ll make connections and friendships that last well after you’ve finished your last class.
The program is for entrepreneurs who already own a business, and for those just starting out.

Invest NY: Health will take place on March 3 and is currently looking for companies with a tech-enabled & defensible market position (intellectual property and market traction all count) and some (or lots) of proven product/market fit. Applicants who have raised some outside capital are ideal and there is a preference for late-seed/series A or later companies. The deadline to apply is February 4.
