As part of Bread for the World’s advocacy to end hunger, they have produced the Racial Wealth Gap simulation to help us learn how policies affect Black and White families in very different ways. We will learn how this has led us away from our vision of equal opportunity for all to a place where many people of color struggle for basic necessities.

Forgiveness

Jesus went to the heart of the matter with his instruction on forgiveness in the Lord’s Prayer. Forgiveness means different things to different people. We will be assembling small meal packets (COVID compliant) containing rice, soy, dehydrated vegetables, and a flavoring mix including 21 essential vitamins and minerals for Rise Against Hunger, an international hunger relief agency.
