My Friends,
Worship is central to our life as a church. We have never lost that focus. No, we’ve not been together in one place. Yes, we have been together in worship as we’ve heard the Word preached and celebrated the Sacraments wherever we are.
This Sunday we will be able to gather together in one place, limited in how many can gather, but unlimited in how many gather through the miracle of technology.
Paul used the technology of his day to share the gospel: papyrus and parchment to write his letters, the roads of the Roman Empire to travel between churches, for example. So we have used and will continue to use technology to share the gospel: livestreaming, videos on demand, our website, YouTube.
Grace and peace,
Bruce
