This morning, we welcome Rabbi Aaron Meyer to Westminster! Rabbi Meyer is in his fourth year at Temple Emanuel of the South Hills, where he is known for his warmth and welcoming of all people. He engages congregants at every age in active expressions of Jewish life: meaningful worship, active efforts to achieve social justice, and distilling Jewish values for the thorny issues of our day.
He is active in the South Hills interfaith community, building relationships with neighbors. Rabbi Meyer believes that Judaism cannot be contained in the ivory tower of the synagogue, but must inspire our actions in the broader world. He is married to Rabbi Emily Meyer and they have two children. If you see him at the playground or walking his dog Camille, stop to say hello!
