Friday, June 26
We know that the Church is not the building nor just one hour together, but we all have missed the vitality in our faith, spirit, and ministries of when we are together for worship, fellowship, study, and service.

Even though it is impossible to completely eliminate the risks associated with gathering together, it is the responsibility and commitment of the Session, church staff, and all members to reduce the risk in gathering as much as possible. We have always made our decisions out of love for one another and trust that all our members will also decide lovingly for one another.

As plans for in-person worship are being made, I know that not everyone will choose to be present every time the church gathers. Let me assure you that the Session and church staff will make every effort to ensure that precautions and arrangements are made so that all are welcome and included every time the church gathers.

We live in hope and confidence - “ For with the LORD there is steadfast love, and with him is great power to redeem .” (Psalm 130:7)

Let us move forward as Christ’s disciples “ with all humility and gentleness, with patience, bearing with one another in love, making every effort to maintain the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace .” (Ephesians 2-3)

Grace and peace,
Bruce Lancaster

Today's Hymn
Today We All Are Called to Be Disciples

Today we all are called to be disciples of the Lord, to help to set the captive free, make plowshare out of sword, to feed the hungry, quench their thirst, make love and peace our fast, to serve the poor and homeless first, our ease and comfort last.

May we in service to our God act out the living word, and walk the road the saints have trod till all have seen and heard. As stewards of the earth may we give thanks in one accord to God who calls us all to be disciples of the Lord.
