UPCOMING EVENTS & OPPORTUNITIES

We recently learned that Dan Rather must cancel his upcoming Town Hall South lecture. However, we are pleased to announce that CNN’s chief national correspondent John King has graciously agreed to take Dan Rather’s place at the Town Hall South podium on Tuesday, October 11, at 10:00 a.m. For further information and to purchase tickets, please visit our website at www.townhallsouth.org.
The Westminster Peace and Justice Team would like to thank all of you who wrote letters to congress asking for renewal of support for SNAP (Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program) in the spring. You contributed 187 letters to legislators and candidates for office, a record for us! We pray that this translates into food for hungry people.
