Friday, August 7
Hello,

I saw a new word the other day: “Coronacoping”! The article went on to describe all the different ways people and businesses have found to ‘coronacope’.

Someone summed it up this way, “We move forward, it’s going to be different, and it can be exciting!”

Like the PNC says in their recent update, we all have “had to get creative in finding ways to conduct business while making safety a top priority during the pandemic.”

I am grateful for our Staff, our Session and Deacons, and for every member of Westminster Presbyterian Church who is helping us move forward into this different world. The creativity in meeting the challenges and the patience to move past the frustrations puts WPC in a good place as we prepare for a new pastor.

Grace and peace,
Bruce Lancaster

Pastor Nominating Committee (PNC) Update

The Pastor Nominating Committee is making progress. During August we will be conducting our final interviews with the finalists for our recommendation for Westminster's next senior pastor. These interviews will be in person. Like many of you, the PNC has had to get creative in finding ways to conduct business while making safety a top priority during the pandemic. Our in-person meetings with the finalists will be conducted largely outdoors. When we are indoors, we will be wearing face coverings and staying six feet apart. We are excited and energized about this latest chapter and for what God has planned for Westminster's future. The PNC is grateful for your prayers and your support. We ask that you keep those prayers going. Read more about the PNC.
