The online newsletter for the Wu Yee Children's Services family

April 2013

Greetings!

We're entering a new era here at Wu Yee, with new leaders coming aboard and focused initiatives to upgrade our systems and facilities. Wu Yee is committed to excellence, and CEO Monica Walters is assessing our agency from top to bottom to ensure we're providing excellence to our clients, our staff, and the city of San Francisco.

Thanks for being a part of the Wu Yee family!

We are excited to welcome Mike Neumann, Chief Operations Officer, and Gracia Shi, Director of Human Resources to Wu Yee Children's Services.

Mike has more than 35 years of experience in construction management and deep roots in the Chinatown community. We wish a warm welcome to Mike and Gracia!

April's Wu Yee Heroine!

Generations' Associate Teacher Connie Ho.

Connie has been at Wu Yee's Generations center for 10 years. She has shown initiative by taking on center beautification and learning area development projects this year, and is also participating in the Bay Area Discovery Museum's Connections professional development cohort. She is drawing on that experience to enhance the Generations science learning area, and implement the "Beautiful Stuff" environmental science curriculum. Her knowledge and leadership have been instrumental in the center's dramatic growth this year.

Thank you for your great work, Connie!
