The Chester County Chamber of Commerce proudly hosted Administrative Professionals Day on Wednesday. PPG Plant Manager Ken Hale, a Chamber Board member, welcomed guests and thanked them for their dedication to both their businesses and Chester County. These professionals were provided lunch by KJ'z Wings & Ale restaurant. Karlisa Parker Dean, Director of Economic Development for Chester County, was the interesting (and entertaining) guest speaker. Mrs. Dean reminded the administrative professionals that they are important ambassadors for our county and their work is vital to building a successful and sustainable economy in Chester County. Mrs. Dean discussed exciting changes that are coming to the county (as in new industry and development) and encouraged those in attendance to be involved and engaged in the business community. Guests were given Cotton Hills Farm strawberries as a "thank you" gift from PPG and Hunter's Florist provided beautiful flower arrangements in honor of the hard work of all administrative professionals. Thank you to PPG, CHF, Hunter's Florist, KJ'z Wings & Ale, and Chester County (War Memorial Building) for your contributions to the day's event; thanks also to our caring team of Chamber Ambassadors who set up, cleaned up and photographed the day!
