All Seniors were asked to take all of their acceptance letters and scholarship award letters to the College and Career Guidance Office by Monday, May 2, for inclusion in the graduation booklet. We will make a copy for you and you can keep the original. This information is also used for our school statistics. We will honor their accomplishments by acknowledging the acceptances and scholarships at various functions and celebrations at the end of the school year. We are proud of our seniors!
Senior Celebration Letters

In preparation for the Senior Luncheon on May 16, please don’t forget to mail congratulatory cards and letters, as well as a 3x5, 4x6, or 5x7 photo of your child (when he or she was younger than age 5) into the main office. Please be sure to label the photo with your child’s name on the back of the photo. Marching Band Sign-ups
Any student who is registered for the 2022-2023 school year at York Catholic, is a musician, dancer, or interested in color guard, should sign up for Marching Band!

YC students who are instrumentalists need to play at least at an intermediate level. Students who are new to York Catholic need to audition in person or provide an audition recording. The audition will require the student to play two different scales of their choice and a selection from a private lesson piece or concert piece. In-person audition dates are Friday, May 13, from 3:15-6:30 PM and Saturday, May 14, from 8:00 AM-12:00 PM. Please email Ms. Mezza to schedule an audition time at cmezza@yorkcatholic.org.

New YC students who wish to join the color guard must audition in August during New Member Band Camp.

Click the button below to sign-up for Marching Band and Color Guard by May 25.

Virtue = Strength
The SportsLeader program, which has primarily been devoted to virtue formation through athletics, has created an expanded model to serve an entire school, parish, and/or community. This new program has a new yet familiar name: Virtue=Strength. This program is an enhancement to the SportsLeader program, yet separate as it is designed to be used by teachers and staff across the entire student body.

Refer a Friend to YC
If you know a friend, family member, or anyone looking for a high-quality, Christ-centered education for their children who do not already attend a Catholic school, you could receive a $250 credit toward your child's tuition at York Catholic.

York Catholic's Parent Referral Program is a win-win for everyone involved. Referred students receive an outstanding education from York Catholic, while parents of the referred families get peace of mind knowing their child is gaining so much more than just a top-notch education. Families who refer someone who registers at York Catholic receive a $250 credit towards their child's tuition.

You, as parents, are our best ambassadors.  In order for the Parent Referral Program to be a success, we need information about individuals who may be interested in joining the York Catholic family. All you need to do is click below to fill out the form. If the family you refer attends York Catholic through their first semester, your family's tuition will be credited $250, spread into 4 credits applied to the months of February, March, April, and May.

It really is that simple. So go ahead. Please click on the box below and allow us the opportunity to do what we love -- help to develop, nurture, and encourage children so they may grow in faith, mind, and heart. Mail or email the form to us and we will take it from there!

The Parent Referral Program is open to all parents of current York Catholic students. The tuition credit is not available for referring your own children. The $250 credit is only good toward tuition on a student's account; no cash is given, and it is non-transferrable. A referred student applies only to a new student from a non-partner school.

Thank you for all you do for our school!
In Case You Missed It...

Our York Catholic Diversity Club participated in the Harrisburg YWCA’s Race Against Racism last weekend. It was a virtual race that could be accomplished anytime through April. Our club chose to walk together with their friends and family members.
