Leadership Perspectives Graduation

The Willmar Lakes Area Chamber is proud to present the 31st Annual Leadership Perspectives graduating class. This year’s class of 33 students will join the more than 950 graduates of the program. Nine of the graduates had perfect attendance. Leadership Perspectives is sponsored by the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber with financial support from Kandiyohi County, City of Willmar, and the Mid-Minnesota Development Commission. The program is designed to develop leaders who are informed, dynamic, qualified and motivated about the business community. Thank you to everyone who participated in the planning and facilitation of the program. Special thanks to all the businesses who feel that it is of value to their employees, businesses that welcome the class into their facilities for meeting space or tours, everyone who has come out to speak, and all of our loyal vendors who make it go off without a hitch. We look forward to opening registration for this fall’s program shortly!

Fifth Grade Ag Tours

Nearly 350 fifth graders from Willmar Public Schools and Community Christian School toured Louriston Dairy or CoJo Dairy farms last week. Thank you to the farm staff, volunteers, and sponsors for their generous support and for chaperoning the tours! It was a great opportunity for students to learn about and experience agriculture and farm life firsthand.

neXt Volunteers at Youth For Christ

neXt members representing Weichert Realtors, CDS, Bolton & Menk, Inc., Woodland Centers, Engan Associates Architects, Procore Technologies, and Jennie-O enjoyed volunteering at West Central Minnesota Youth For Christ followed by a couple fun games of laser tag!
