Chamber Connection on Friday

Willmar Fests promotes Willmar Area attractions, pride in the community and the quality of life through family participation featuring events for citizens of all ages. The purpose of Willmar Fests is to encourage the imagination, talents, interests and creativity of the residents of the Willmar Area. Willmar Fests is the combination of four Festivals rolled into one big summer city-wide celebration.

Cardinal Pride was formed in 1999 to support extra-curricular sports in the Willmar Public Schools. Cardinal Pride's impact on high school athletics is wide reaching. They create and administer the seasonal fall and spring sports programs which are distributed free at home events. Cardinal Pride also maintains the photo display of the Cardinal Pride Hall of Fame at the Willmar High School.

George "Corky" Berg Celebrates 5 Years

Congratulation to George "Corky" Berg on five years of continuous membership! Corky is the Kandiyohi County Commissioner for District 1. Prior to his retirement, he served seven years in the Army Reserve and 33 years in the Human Services field as a Licensed Social Worker, Supervisor and Director of the Kandiyohi County Human Services Department. Corky has been very active in the community and has served on numerous boards and committees which have made the county as a whole a better place to live, work, play, and do business. neXt members and their families enjoyed a picnic and a Stingers game last week. As an affiliate of the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber, neXt is a local organization formed to attract and retain young talent in the community, while developing the next generation of leaders. Focused on young adults, we use fun social activities and structured educational opportunities to help you grow your network, learn new skills, and develop as a leader. Whether you are looking to grow personally or professionally, odds are we have an upcoming event that will help you do just that.
