Volunteers Needed for Junior Achievement

Junior Achievement is looking for 10 volunteers to commit 5 hours at Kennedy Elementary in the spring (March-May). There are opportunities in Kindergarten, 1st grade, and 2nd grade. If interested, contact Michelle Marotzke at mmarotzke@yahoo.com or (320) 287-1737.

2024 Chamber Connections

Chamber Connections are professional networking events hosted Friday mornings from 7:30-8:30 at different Chamber member businesses. Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and share a brief update on their business or community happenings. The host ends the Connection with an overview of their business followed by a drawing for door prizes. All are welcome, and need not be a member of the Chamber to participate. Please bring $1 and your business card.

Business Education Network at Zero Hour

The Business Education Network and the Willmar High School welcomed Central MN Jobs & Training Services and Woodland Centers to the high school on December 13th. Students had a chance to roll the dice for free swag and play Jenga while learning about these amazing companies. Zero Hour is the first hour on Wednesdays at the Willmar High School. This time is scheduled every other week for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Those that do not have work to catch up on are in the commons area until classes start at 9am. This gives the us the opportunity to showcase all the fantastic businesses right here in the Willmar Lakes Area. Elevate Business Academy Info Sessions

The Elevate Community Business Academy is a free 12-week business education course for current business owners or entrepreneurs who live in or serve Kandiyohi County. Become the version of you that makes your dreams come true through this course! Interested in learning more? Start by attending an informational session on January 10, 11, 18, or 23 6:00-7:00pm at the EDC.
