2023-2024 Leadership Perspectives Class

Leadership Perspectives is designed to develop effective community leaders with vision and insight. Session topics include: individual and team building; heritage and diversity; government and media; health, human services, and volunteerism; law and justice; education; industry, and tourism; entrepreneurship and opportunities. Each session focuses on the issues critical to our region’s future success. This year’s class will surpass 1,000 graduates. Each will be more informed, dynamic, qualified and motivated about the business community. Special thanks to the City of Willmar, Kandiyohi County, and Mid-Minnesota Development Commission for their financial support, and to all the local businesses that allow us to tour their facilities.

Highway 23 Work and Improvement Updates

The North Gap Project is completed.
The South Gap Project construction has begun.
Half clover leaf has been added to I-94 to promote safer entry to Highway 23.
Construction is being done on the Highway 23/Highway 10 interchange.
Resurfacing occurred in Clara City, providing a significant improvement for the public.
Funding was granted for the Highway 23/Highway 9 modified interchange.
Ramps recently completed at County Rd 5, southwest of Willmar, to remove a dangerous turn at a bend in the highway.
