Weekly Networking Event

Join the Willmar Lakes Area Chamber for networking, prize drawings, and all the latest news and announcements from the local business community. The event will take place in the Heritage Bank Community Room (310 1st St S, Willmar). The lobby will not be open, so please park in the bank lot and enter through the law office doors. Don't forget to bring your business card for a chance at door prizes. $1 will be collected from each attendee to benefit our Nonprofit of the Month: Hope Pregnancy Center.

Donations Needed for Bottle Bonanza

The Willmar Lakes Area Chamber is excited to announce the return of a crowd favorite to this year’s Chamber Golf Classic - the Bottle Bonanza Putting Contest! We’re looking for donations of bottles of liquor (bourbon, gin, scotch — you name it!) or another prize item of greater or equal value to stock the lineup and keep the competition exciting.

How You Can Support:

This is a great way to get involved and support the tournament fundraiser, especially if you’re not planning to participate in another capacity.

Donate a bottle: Drop it off at the Chamber or request a pickup
Give a monetary donation: We’ll purchase a bottle for you
Prefer a non-alcohol option? Gift cards or other prizes of equal or greater value are also welcome and appreciated

Last week, Jennifer Liberty Clark with Dale Carnegie Training shared valuable tips on recognizing, avoiding, and overcoming burnout in today’s fast-paced world. With workloads increasing and many businesses and organizations striving to do more with fewer people, finding a healthy work–life balance has become more challenging than ever.

Diving into the Four Phases of Attitude: Excitement, Frustration, Looking, and Recommitment, Jennifer offered practical insights on how to push through daily challenges and stay the course. Her strategies encouraged attendees to not only recognize when they’re feeling stretched thin, but also to take proactive steps to maintain focus, energy, and resilience in both their professional and personal lives.
