Bernick's Celebrates 50 Years | |

Primrose Boutique First Dollar & Ribbon Cutting | |
Congratulations to Emma Whitcomb on the grand opening of Primrose Boutique! Started as a completely online store in 2021, the lifestyle boutique with a sweet Midwest style has opened the doors to its first brick and mortar in the Legacy Commons. The Chamber Ambassadors enjoyed watching Emma's dreams progress from the groundbreaking with Marcus Construction in January to the ribbon cutting celebration. Celebrating alongside of Emma, her support team, and family, are Chamber Ambassadors Michelle Marotzke (Mid-Minnesota Development Commission), Jeff Jensen (West Central Technology, Inc.), Dawn Lippert (Mainstream Boutique), Alana Ziehl (Kandiyohi County Food Shelf), Sam Quam (Bethesda), Amber Barber (320 Real Estate Co), and Julie Anderson (Kensington Insurance). | |
Chamber Community Leadership Celebration | |
Tickets to the Chamber Community Leadership Celebration are $25 and may be purchased through March 28th on the Chamber website, at chamber@willmarareachamber.com, or by calling (320) 235-0300. Tickets include a breakfast buffet. | |
Business Education Network | |
BEN and the Willmar High School welcomed Cooperleaf to Zero Hour on March 1st. Students had a chance to play mini-cornhole to win a granola bar or a Bubbl'r. Each prize had a label that included a QR code so the students could gather more information after visiting the table - what a clever idea! Zero Hour is the first hour on Wednesdays at the Willmar High School. This time is scheduled every other week for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Those that do not have work to catch up on are in the commons area until classes start at 9am. This gives us the opportunity to showcase all the fantastic businesses right here in the Willmar Lakes Area. Openings include March 15th, April 12th and a few other dates before the end of the school year. | |
