Business Education Network
BEN and the Willmar High School welcomed Christianson PLLP and Central MN Jobs and Training Services to Zero Hour on May 3rd. The students had a chance to learn more about these great businesses located right here in the Willmar Lakes Area. Zero Hour is the first hour on Wednesdays at the Willmar High School. This time is scheduled every other week for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Those that do not have work to catch up on are in the commons area until classes start at 9am. This gives us the opportunity to showcase all the fantastic businesses right here in the Willmar Lakes Area. If you would like the opportunity to connect with the Willmar High School students, please reach out to Jennifer Lindquist, program coordinator, at bencoordinator@willmarareachamber.com to get added to the list for next year’s opportunities.
Mark your calendars - you won't want to miss this fun outdoor concert! The Melvin's Throwback will serve as the Chamber's annual fundraising event and is being organized by the Special Events Committee. Additionally, raffle tickets will be available for purchase beginning in May with the drawing to take place at the event. The top prize will be $5,000 cash. Stay tuned for more information!
