United Community Action Partnership Celebrates 20 Years | |

Leadership Perspectives Visits the Capitol | |
The Willmar Lakes Area Leadership Perspectives class visited the Minnesota State Capitol on March 20th and was hosted by local Representative Dave Baker and Legislative Assistant Emilie Boehm. It was a very educational day with opportunities to hear from Representative Baker, Senator Lang, Leader Demuth, Speaker Hortman, Commissioner Harpstead, as well as representatives from the Minnesota Chamber and National Federation of Independent Business. The class also visited the House Floor and had the unique experience of sitting in the representatives' seats and voting on a mock bill. | |

State of Business Retention & Expansion Survey Reminder | |
Grow Minnesota! is conducting its second annual report to examine business expansion trends. Part of this study includes a brief survey on overall business conditions and expansion related issues. This survey will provide critical insights on how businesses are making decisions about future investments and what they need to grow/expand in their local community. The findings will help chambers and economic developers better understand what can be done to drive more business investment in our communities. The survey was emailed to the primary contacts in ChamberMaster. Please take a moment to share your feedback. | |
