Business Education Network

The Business Education Network (BEN) and the Willmar High School welcomed Healthy Fusion and Prinsco on January 10th. Students had a chance to try free samples from Healthy Fusion, and played bean bags while learning more about Prinsco and the tiling business. Zero Hour is the first hour every other Wednesday for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Those that do not have work to catch up on are in the commons area until classes start at 9am. This gives us the opportunity to showcase all the fantastic businesses in the Willmar Lakes Area. If you would like the opportunity to connect with the Willmar High School students, please reach out to Jennifer Lindquist - the program coordinator at BENCoordinator@willmarareachamber.com to schedule your date to attend.

Also on January 10th, BEN presented Classroom to Career at ACGC middle school. Jessica Hanson from Willmar Hypnosis talked with students about choices they have in paving their future. Classroom to Career allows business professionals the opportunity to engage with students, talk with them about their career choices in the Willmar Lakes Area and discuss how the decisions in high school will open future opportunities. The program is designed to show students that they are in control of their future educational goals through personal choice and educational decisions. Thank you to ACGC and to Jessica Hanson for making this opportunity possible.
