Everyone gets a chance to introduce themselves and share a brief update on their business or community happenings. The host ends the Connection with brief overview of their business followed by a drawing for door prizes.

Youth For Christ Celebrates Renovation

Congratulations to West Central Minnesota Youth For Christ (YFC) on the Ribbon Cutting of their newly renovated space by Marcus Construction! In partnership with local churches and the community, YFC reaches youth and young adults with the life changing message of Jesus. This space will inspire conversations, relationships, and will be a place where lives will be touched and forever changed.

Congratulations to Jesse O'Brien of OBrien’s Power Washing LLC on his First Dollar with the Ambassadors! Business Education Network at Zero Hour

The Business Education Network and Willmar Senior High School welcomed Ampact, Bethesda, Jennie-O, and Woodland Centers to Zero Hour in March. Students spun a wheel to win prizes and learn more about Bethesda, and rolled dice to answer questions about mental health and the services that Woodland Centers offers. Students also discussed opportunities with Ampact and Jennie-O. Zero Hour is the first hour every other Wednesday for students to catch up on tests or missing work. Those that do not have work to catch up on are in the Commons until classes start at 9am. This provides an opportunity to showcase fantastic businesses right here in the Willmar Lakes Area!

Dual Training Grant Open for Applications

The MN Dual Training Grant is currently open for applications and will close on April 22. Employers in the industries of Advanced Manufacturing, Agriculture, Child Care, Healthcare Services, IT, Legal Cannabis, and Transportation can apply for up to $6,000 per employee, to be used toward tuition and fee costs, to upskill into a higher paying occupation.
