Chamber Connections Start Friday! | |
One of approximately 200 affiliates in 43 states and Washington D.C, Family Promise of Kandiyohi County is an non-profit that partners with 13 local congregations (and 13 support churches) to provide shelter, meals and hospitality to homeless families within the Kandiyohi County area. Family Promise's goal is to do whatever they can to assist homeless families gain emergency shelter, daily meals, and partner with local agencies to equip families with the skills they need overcome homelessness. Family Promise believes that families need a “hand up,” not just a “hand out.” | |

Founded by KCEO graduate Levi Schimschock, The Schimmy Shack caters weddings, events, and offers delicious and affordable lunches at the MinnWest Technology Campus Commons Cafeteria (1707 Technology Dr. NE, Willmar). D&D Smoke Celebrates First Dollar | |
Congratulations to brothers Dharmendra Thakur and Deepak Sharma of D&D Smoke on their First Dollar with the Chamber Ambassadors! Also pictured are Dharmendra's wife and children, Anju Kumari, Eliana and Rushank Sharma. Originally from Nepal, Dharmendra and Deepak have lived in Minnesota for the past four years. They relocated to Willmar from Marshall to open D&D Smoke in June of 2022. D&D Smoke provides a wide variety of tobacco, a walk-in humidor, incense, e-cigarettes and accessories, and much more. They pride themselves on being the friendliest tobacco shop with the lowest prices in town.
