Supporting the Mental Health of Our Healthcare Providers
For the last two years, wave after wave of coronavirus infections have put immense stress on our healthcare system and caused an increase in mental health issues among frontline workers. With help from a $15,000 Program Support Grant from the Community Foundation, St. Luke’s Hospital is leading a new effort to destigmatize and treat mental health among healthcare professionals.

A Look Ahead at 2022 Grant Cycles
On January 24, the Community Foundation hosted a virtual Nonprofit Know-How: 2022 Grants at the Community Foundation. Program Officers provided an overview of upcoming grant opportunities and changes to grantmaking policies and procedures. A recording of the event is available for those who were unable to attend.

Board of Directors Welcomes New Officers and Members
Janice Kerkove and Mary Junge joined the Board of Directors on January 1 and will serve three-year terms. New officers were also elected, including Board Chair Okpara Rice. Okpara is Chief Executive Officer at Tanager Place and is the first Black Board Chair in the Community Foundation’s history.
