Can you believe it's October already?! We've been busy behind the scenes planning some fantastic future events — from a bracing cold water dip to a special anniversary walk and another epic cycle ride. There’s plenty to look forward to, so read on to get all the details!

Introducing Anne and Emily, our new Family Support Workers!

We are thrilled to welcome Anne and Emily, our new Family Support Workers on the Piam Brown ward. They have already got stuck in at the ward alongside Kirsten, helping families out with emotional support, grant applications and supporting families as they navigate life on the ward.



Anne has a background in mental health and care roles, and brings first-hand experience as one of her children was a patient on the ward 13 years ago. 

Emily comes from a teaching role in secondary schools, so has plenty of experience in supporting young people, and has knowledge of safeguarding and the passion to help children thrive. 

If you are on the ward, please look out for them to say hello, if you haven’t already! We’re so pleased to have them join the team and help to make children and families’ time on the ward a little brighter.
