READ THE 2024 LEGISLATIVE AGENDA!

The Legislative Agenda is one of the most important documents that we produce at the Alexandria Chamber as it outlines our advocacy priorities on behalf of you, the business community, for the next year and beyond.

2024 Legislative Agenda Highlights

Comprehensive Business Support for our businesses as they tackle the challenges and opportunities of the post pandemic world. This includes:

Office market

Childcare

Crime

Flexibility and creativity with regulations

We’re also focused on livability and at the top of that list is housing – we know there are no easy answers for the City or the region but we are ready to engage in the development of real solutions to this issue.

And finally, recognizing the vital importance that schools play in economic development (everything from workforce development, to businesses wanting to locate in our City) you will see a strong emphasis placed on building the relationship between the school system and the business community.

Please take some time to read this document and think about the ways you can help amplify our message. As always, feel free to reach out to us with any questions.
