Canada's bishops release Pastoral Letter to Young people


Most Rev. Raymond Poisson, President of the Canadian Conference of Catholic Bishops (CCCB), issued a Pastoral Letter to Young People, October 12, to honour the anniversary of the death of Blessed Carlo Acutis, the first beatified millennial. This Pastoral Letter responds to the CCCB’s virtual conversations with over 200 young people from across Canada, aged 12-25 during the fall of 2020.

Fall Retreat: Prayer and Thanksgiving in the Tradition of St. Teresa of Ávila


This retreat will focus on excerpts from the works of St. Teresa of Ávila that communicate her spirit of thanksgiving and friendship with God through prayer and how this can be an example for our prayer. The retreat will begin with St. Teresa’s conviction that “God alone suffices” and end with her call to seek friendship with God in Christ in private and communal (liturgical) prayer.
