"My students have been thrilled to get back into their music! Some of them have been so excited that they've been asking their parents, 'When do lessons start again?'. We are looking forward to a great trimester of music here at the Arts Hub!"

Winter Classes

A fun and creative class! Young artists will look to the Masters for inspiration as they create with a variety of media including wood, clay, paper, and more!

Taught by Michelle Sharp, students will be encouraged to create their own masterpieces and discover the creativity within themselves.

As the world has become more digital, art has begun to evolve digitally as well. Taught by Tim Pucillo, students will learn the basics of using Procrete to draw and animate their creative ideas.

This is the perfect class for students with little or no experience creating digitally, but it is open to all skill levels. This is also the precursor class to our more in-depth Intermediate Digital Art Class, which further explores our Maker Space and 3D printing.

Our Teen/Adult classes are open to teens 15+ and adults.

Want to try watercolors for the first time? This class is for you!

This is a fantastic opportunity to receive live and in-person instruction from an accomplished local artist, Davette Leonard. She can

help you problem-solve and develop your own unique style. Students will learn about color mixing and brushwork techniques, such as washes,

dry brush, stippling, resist, and more.

Watercolor painting is a perfect medium

to brighten up the month of February!

Both of the above paintings were created by Davette!

Music Lessons and Classes

New Music Teacher

Meet our new guitar instructor, Kelvin Kaspar!

Kelvin began playing music professionally when he was sixteen. He formed a band with high school friends and played all over Wisconsin, performing various popular music. His love for music led him to the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point where he graduated with a Jazz Performance degree on guitar.

Since graduation in 2008, Kelvin has a wide variety of sideman performance credits including Wayne Newton and Saturday Night Live cast members. Kelvin has also performed alongside various touring musicians such as vocalists Typhanie Monique, Raquel Rodriguez, Janet Planet, B3 organist Ben Paterson, and trombonist Natalie Cressman. Music has brought Kelvin all around the United States but locally he can be seen performing with The Pocket Kings, Tae and the Neighborly, Stephen Cooper and Nobody Famous, Stuck on Blue, The Celebration Church Worship Team, and many other small ensembles.

Kelvin works regularly as a session musician on guitar and many other string instruments throughout Wisconsin. His credits as a performer and arranger can be found on works from NBC’s The Masked Singer, Janet Planet’s Grammy Nominated “Just Like A Woman”, Blue Dream Studios (Los Angeles, CA), and jingle writing for Narrator Tracks (Oshkosh, WI). Along with performing and recording, Kelvin is currently on staff at the University of Wisconsin-Stevens Point for Jazz Guitar.
