Special election ballots will be dropped in the mail on Jan. 19th.
In case you haven’t noticed... work is going on behind the scenes for a full-fledged GET-OUT-THE-VOTE for February 8th!
- Our postcard mailers were rubber-banded to hang on doorknobs and a fabulous team canvassed Bay Crest on Saturday, January 15th, visiting 400 homes!
- Yard signs and banners are popping back up with the appropriate prop. #2 stickers. Get yours updated and in the ground!
- Letters to the Northern Light Editor are streaming in.
- Testimonials have been collected and are being posted on Facebook and the Friends website!
- Address labels are being placed on postcard mailers that will be sent to gated communities to coincide with ballots arriving
- Information is being sent out by WCLS, the Birch Bay Chamber Buzz, on Next-door Neighbor, and hopefully by each one of you to your friends and neighbors!!
What can you do?
- Go to @yeswhatcomlibraries and “LIKE” what you see everyday!!…and send this great resource to your Facebook friends
- Put these dates on your calendar and join us for sign waving to get out the VOTE…it’s lots of fun…bring a friend!
