*11:00 AM: First State Bank - Texas Treasure Business Award 
Burnet County Commissioners Court

Come join us as Burnet's First State Bank will be recognized with a Texas Treasure Business Award from the Texas Historical Commission (THC) during Commissioners Court. This award pays tribute to businesses that have provided employment opportunities and support to the state's economy for 50 years or more.

Are you looking for an innovative way to get some great advertising for your business or organization? The Burnet Consolidated ISD Annual Employee "Back to School" Breakfast and Vendor Visitation and will be held on Wednesday, August 9 2017, at Burnet High School from 7:00 to 8:45 AM. Tables will be set up in the gymnasium foyer and cafeteria for businesses and organizations wishing to provide information to our employees. Summer Hours:
Now that summer is upon us, our new tasting room hours are Thursday - Monday 12pm - 5pm. Escape the Texas heat with a glass of Perissos.

Live Music Saturdays:
Come enjoy live music by local artists & a wine tasting outside on our patio and lawn overlooking our vineyard. Weather permitting of course.

The COMPASSIONATE FRIENDS - a Grief / Support Group
FIRST CHRISTIAN CHURCH (DISCIPLES OF CHRIST):

3rd Tuesdays at 7:00 PM - Compassionate Friends - A grief/support group for parents & grandparents suffering the death of a child (regardless of the age of the child)
BURNET COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN'S GROUP:

Burnet County Republican Women meet on the 2nd Tuesday of every month.  The meetings are at 11:30 and are held at the Reed Building, 402 E. JacKson, Burnet.  For more information call 830-798-1399.
HIGHLAND LAKES WRITERS CLUB:

The Club meets the 2nd Thursday of each month at The Falls on the Colorado Museum at 2001 Broadway in Marble Falls. Visitors are always welcome. The social hour starts at 6:30 followed by author readings and the business meeting at 7:00 pm.
BURNET COUNTY DEMOCRATIC GROUP:

Burnet County Democrats meet on the 3rd Tuesday of every month.  The meetings are at 6:00pm and are held at the Lake LBJ Chamber of Commerce, 916 2nd St, Marble Falls.  For more information call 832-922-0003.
